In the roaring 1920s, Mrs. Winifred Hastings is preparing for the most elegant affair of the season: her 60th birthday fête. A woman of impeccable taste and hilarious vocabulary, Winifred invites her oldest (and wealthiest) friends for an opulent garden party at Hastings Estate in New Orleans. Naturally, her adult children are summoned home for the occasion. Each child is determined to appear as the “perfect” Hastings. But when a wayward house pet, a tray of macarons, and one very public masquerade ball threaten to expose everyone’s secrets, the siblings must decide: keep up the charade or finally be honest—with each other and themselves. A comedy of manners meets comedy of errors, this is a story about family, appearances, and the wildly unrealistic expectations we put on ourselves in pursuit of perfection.
Music: Students meet weekly for music class. Elementary students take part in the music program presented for Grandparent’s Day and Christmas/Winter concerts. Grade 4 and 5 present a Christmas Musical each year. PreK – Grade 3 take part in a Winter Concert and Middle School students participate in a Spring Fine Arts Night. Middle School has weekly music class. They also have the opportunity to be apart of the worship team, which performance during chapels.
Theatre: Equip. Inspire. Honor. We strive to bring wholesome and quality shows while using and improving our God given talents. But, there is so much more to theatre than catchy music, flashy costumes, and kick lines.
Here at Catalyst Theatre, our goal is to equip our High School students by offering classes taught by experienced professionals. We also aim to equip future leaders and artists by providing hands-on experience. That also means we do more than just theatre. There are classes for photography and graphic design, classes to train worship leaders and future production staff.
Each year the Middle School puts on a musical and the High School also has a production. The High School production could be a drama or a musical, which they take on tour. This tour includes churches, schools and other venues in PA and sometimes even other states.
Catalyst Theatre is constantly looking to grow and expand what is offered! All of this is possible because we’re a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. And as exciting and rewarding as the arts are, our students do it all to bring honor and glory to God who gave us the love and gift for this in the first place.

Flag Ministry: We offer a flag elective program for middle school students. Each week they have the opportunity to rejoice with banners . The students meet to learn and practice a routine in which they worship God through interpretive moment. They will then perform these routines a few times through the year. As they perform their worship to God others can also enter into worship.
